We are Resonate, a community-based treble choir in Portland, OR. Founded in 2014, Resonate is not your typical choir. We collaborate with local artists and musicians to find new ways that art and choral singing can intersect. We’ve worked with local songwriters, storytellers, visual artists and a musical theater company. Stay connected to find out what is next!
Resonate is a community that learns and grows together. We make art with meaning. We approach the creative and collaborative process with kindness and care. We invest our time and skill in the music and in each other. And the beauty that results, as well as the process of creating it, makes the world a little better, and all of our lives a little richer.
Spring 2026
This season we welcome guest artistic director Leela Grace, a singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist who has directed ResistSing! and Rose City Folk Chorus. Our focus will be by-ear harmony singing for all levels. Watch this wonderful video to learn about Leela Grace’s approach.
Rehearsals begin February 2, 2026. No audition necessary.
