Stronger in Song: Music that Builds Community

A collaboration between Resonate Choral Arts and Avery Hill Ukulele Studio

In hard times, we turn to each other for comfort, strength, and help, and we know that MUSIC reminds us that we are so much more than the mere sum of our parts!

Resonate’s treble chorus, Avery Hill's ukulele studio, soloists, guest artists, (and even the audience!) will band together to share songs to uplift and strengthen. We’ll be singing songs from the civil rights movement to the present day–world-famous songs to pieces written by local artists. There is power in our voices. That power is amplified when we raise them with others and for beauty and justice!

All proceeds from this concert will benefit the Marie Equi Center! The Marie Equi Center enriches the health of trans, queer, intersex and gender diverse communities through trauma-informed care, culturally-affirming service and social justice advocacy. Their vision is an  LGBTQAI2S+ community, free of stigma, where all have access to high quality healthcare, advocacy, and programs. Come learn more about the work they are doing and the center they opened last fall. Raise your voice for a worthy cause, and let the music lift you up too!
